Adult Registration for Sacraments:
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults – RCIA
Any adult ( 18 + ) who wishes to receive the Sacraments of Initiation ( Baptism, Holy Eucharist & Confirmation ) needs to register now by calling 760-945-8040 for an appointment. We will be registering from now until July 28th, 2011 for next years process. If you plan on marrying in the Catholic Church in the next couple of years, you will need to be fully initiated i.e. have received the sacraments of initiation. If you know someone who is interested in the catholic faith, please invite them to “come and see”. We have ongoing inquiry sessions on the first and third Wednesday of every month except for August from 7:30 to 9pm in the Parish Library. For more information, please call 760-945-8040.

RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults for the formation and spiritual growth for any adult 18 years of age and over who wishes to become Catholic or for those adult Catholics who need to prepare to receive the Sacraments of Penance (Confession), Eucharist (Holy Communion) and/or Confirmation. RCIA stewards may serve as sponsors, team, or office assistance .

What a privilege and a wonderful experience to be a soul friend to someone who is being initiated into the Church.  We have candidates who have no family members that are catholic and we are praying for good stewards to come forward to share their faith with our new members. We need ordinary faith filled people who are in love with Jesus and are willing to walk the walk with our newcomers as they journey to the Easter Vigil. Little Rock / Bible Study– A small faith community scripture study program that focuses on one portion of sacred scriptures at a time. Groups meet weekly for periods of at least 4 weeks to 8 weeks. We use material furnished by The Little Rock Scripture Study. Most of our participants have little or no previous experience with the Bible. Groups meet once a week, at different times to accommodate all who wish to grow in faith and understanding. Our schedule is here.

Through the Bible we learn how to live, what God expects of us and most important, we come to know God

Pre-Baptismal – On a regular basis, leaders conduct classes for parents and god-parents preparing for the baptism of an infant.
