Letter of Good Standing for Baptismal Godparent

If you are registered at St. Francis Catholic Church, going to be a Godparent for a Baptism, and you need a letter of good standing, please fill out this form. If the Church where you are baptizing your godchild gave you a form, please fill it out, sign, and email a scan/email, or for questions and more information, contact the Parish Office.

Si está registrado en la Iglesia de San Francisco, va a ser padrino de un bautismo y necesita una carta de buena conducta, complete este formulario. Si la Iglesia donde va a bautizar a su ahijado le dio un formulario, complételo, fírmelo y envíelo escaneado o por correo electrónico. Si tiene preguntas o desea obtener más información, comuníquese a la Oficina Parroquial.

FROM THE CODE OF CANON LAW:

Sponsors for the Sacrament of Baptism must be Catholics who have been confirmed and have received the Sacrament of Eucharist. They must be in good standing with the Catholic Church and lead a life in harmony with the faith in keeping with the function to be undertaken. (Canon #874 & #893)Please check the affirmations that apply to you:
