Holy orders
Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit from conception to Resurrection, established by God the Father as our high priest. As the Risen Lord, he continues this role. All baptized individuals share in Christ's priesthood, but the ministerial priesthood is uniquely conferred through Holy Orders. Key Points:Call and Gift: Ordination is a call and a gift from God. Jesus urged his Apostles to ask for laborers for the harvest, reflecting the call to the priesthood. Response: Those called to priesthood respond with "Here I am, send me" (Is 6:8). Discernment: God's call can be recognized through daily signs by those discerning the vocation.
